These Terms and Conditions govern your use of transportvancouver.com (the "Website"), operated by Transport Vancouver ("we", "us" or "our"). By using the Website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Use of the website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse it, including by submitting false information, attempting to interfere with its operation, or sending spam through its forms.
Freight estimates and quotes
- Prices shown by the freight calculator are estimates only, in Canadian dollars (CAD), and are subject to confirmation by our team. They are not a binding offer.
- Estimates are based on the information you provide. Final pricing may change if the actual shipment differs (for example pallet count, weight, dimensions, freight type, locations, access or timing).
- Fuel surcharges change regularly and are applied at the rate in effect when your shipment is confirmed.
- Pallets over the maximum height, over the per-pallet weight limit, and shipments of 14 or more pallets (Full Truck Load) are priced by custom quote.
- A shipment is only booked once we confirm it with you in writing.
Services
Transportation, warehousing and related services are provided under the terms of the quote, bill of lading or service agreement for that shipment, along with applicable carrier liability limits under Canadian and British Columbia law. If those documents conflict with these Website terms, those documents apply. Cargo insurance beyond standard carrier liability is available on request.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep Website content accurate and current, but it is provided for general information and may contain errors or be out of date. Service availability, rates and transit times can change without notice.
Intellectual property
The Website content, including text, logos, photographs and design, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
Third-party links
The Website may link to third-party websites, such as fuel surcharge sources. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Website is provided "as is", and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or reliance on its content or estimates.
